The promise of the Holy Spirit

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

Acts 1:8

The Holy Spirit is not only for the Pentecostal or the Charismatic people. The Holy Spirit is God Himself, part of the trinity, available for all believers. The Holy Spirit is not a cloud nor an atmosphere living far away, but He is God as a person willing to live with you and in you all the time. He wants to become your best friend and your partner in the mission you have on this earth. The Holy Spirit is the greatest adviser, comforter and helper. He is a very sweet Spirit, and He will never force. The apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 13:14 “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all”, the word “fellowship” is coming from the Greek word Koinonia, meaning; fellowship, communion but also partnership.

My friend, God the Father is in Heaven, on His right side sits Jesus who is interceding for us. And the Holy Spirit represents God the Father on this Earth who desires to reveal us the real Jesus in us.

You may feel alone, powerless, searching for your future, hungry of more of God’s presence in your life, desiring to make a difference in this generation or simply to be at the right place; the Good News is that the Holy Spirit is here for you. He is a person but also a power to allow you to fulfill your destiny with His help and support. But the Holy Spirit desires also to bring the Gospel and the Kingdom of Heaven into your family, into your business, your school and even into your region and nation. He is going to use you with His anointing to become the best teacher, pilot, mechanic, musician, preacher, baker, parent, leader or whatever you are called to be.

Here’s your promise coming from God to receive the wonderful HOLY SPIRIT and HIS POWER.

Be sure to ask God the Father to be baptized in the name of Jesus of this precious HOLY SPIRIT. Welcome HIM in you, upon you and with you as a permanent friend. And as you open yourself to Him giving HIM room, you will receive HIS fruit (Galatians 5:22) and HIS gifts (1 Corinthians 12) as an equipment to empower you.

Prayer: Thank you God for your wonderful promise. I ask you to baptize me today in the name of Jesus with the Holy Spirit and His Fire. Holy Spirit I need your help. I know that you are the greatest teacher willing to reveal me Jesus and great things from the Kingdom of God. Fill me up and take all your place in me. I want to become your friend. I love you and I worship you Holy Spirit, being so grateful to start a new journey with you.

Quote: The Holy Spirt is God’s promise not only for the Pentecostal or Charismatic people but for every believer.
