There is something extraordinary about a personal encounter with Jesus. When Andrew met Him, his life was forever changed. He had been a disciple of John the Baptist, hungry for God, waiting for the Messiah. But the very moment he heard John point to Jesus as the Lamb of God, Andrew made a decision that shifted the entire course of his destiny. He chose to follow Jesus.

Dear Friend, one decision in your life can unlock generations of blessings. Andrew’s choice didn’t just affect him, it affected his brother Simon Peter, who would later become one of the greatest apostles in history. The Good News is, when you encounter Jesus and choose to follow Him, the ripple effect of that decision will touch your family, your friends, and even people you may never meet.
I remember meeting a young man. He had lived far from God, lost in addictions, without hope. But one evening, in a simple healing service, he encountered Jesus in a real way. His heart was transformed, the chains of addiction were broken, and his whole family saw the difference. Soon after, his brother also gave his life to the Lord. Just like Andrew with Peter, one encounter opened the door for another.

Never underestimate the power of your decision to follow Jesus. It may look simple, but it carries eternal consequences. The Holy Spirit is the One who makes the difference. He awakens hearts, gives courage to follow, and empowers us to bring others along the journey. Maybe today, God is calling you to take a step closer to Him. As you do, not only will your life be changed, but you might be the bridge for your loved ones to find the Savior too.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for calling me to follow You. I ask You today to fill me with the Holy Spirit so that I may live close to You every day. Use my life as a light that will guide my family, my friends, and many others into Your Presence. Help me to make decisions that glorify You and to carry Your hope everywhere I go. Amen.
