Dear friend,
Today, September 2nd, as I celebrate my birthday, I paused for a few moments to reflect on God’s faithfulness. This year holds special meaning for me, as it marks 40 years since I first began preaching the Gospel and carrying out the ministry the Lord entrusted to me.
Looking back over all these years, one image always returns to my heart. I see that sixteen-year-old boy again, preaching his very first message in the small church that had just been born in my parents’ house. The title was: “The Kingdom of God has come near you.” I never could have imagined that by simply saying “yes” to the Lord, He would one day carry me to the ends of the earth to proclaim Jesus Christ.
I’m writing to you today not only to thank God for His faithfulness, but also to open my heart to you and invite you to help write the next chapter of this beautiful adventure of faith.
Never, in forty years of ministry, have I seen so many doors open for the Gospel to be proclaimed. Leaders are inviting us everywhere, churches want to be equipped, and cities and nations are opening their doors to us. For 40 years, I have always preferred to say yes to God before knowing how He would provide, rather than let an opportunity to see lives transformed pass by.
In recent months, we have once again chosen to move forward by faith. We have answered the doors God was opening, convinced that it is always better to obey His call than to let an opportunity to see a life transformed slip away. I don’t regret a single one of these steps of faith, because behind each of them, there are faces.
I think of that family who traveled across much of Italy with their young deaf son, convinced that Jesus could still do today what He did in the Gospels. Just moments after we prayed, his ears opened. I will never forget his parents’ tears when they heard their son answer them.
I also think of a healing conference in Abuja, Nigeria, in a region deeply marked by persecution, where pastors and Christian families still pay the price for their faith. Several hundred widows were invited, women whose husbands had been murdered, with all their expenses covered so that not one of them would be kept away. Over the course of a few days, the Lord opened the eyes of nine blind people, restored hearing to six deaf people, and — even more profoundly — He restored women broken by the rape and violence they had suffered. When four of them, who could not read, began reading the Bible aloud in front of thousands of people, we all understood that only Jesus could accomplish such a work.
I am deeply convinced that the Lord is opening doors before us today like never before. My deepest desire is to be able to answer every one of them with the same faith that has brought us this far. I never want to look back with regret over a door God opened that I failed to walk through.
If the Lord places this vision on your heart, I invite you to become one of the partners who will help us together proclaim Jesus to even more men, women, and children. I believe God continues to call men and women who choose to invest in what has eternal value.
More than ever, I am convinced that we are living in a time when the Holy Spirit is preparing the greatest harvest in all of history. What a privilege to be part of it together.
Over the years, one conviction has grown deeper and deeper in my heart: the name of Revival is Jesus. The Holy Spirit came to reveal Jesus, glorify Jesus, and lead men and women to Jesus. The more Jesus is proclaimed in all His beauty, the more the harvest will grow, until it becomes the greatest harvest in all of history before His return.
Today, Jean-Luc Trachsel Ministries has become a platform serving that same vision: proclaiming Jesus, equipping the Church, seeing the sick healed, preparing the harvest, and serving the nations through the International Association of Healing Ministries, Europe Shall Be Saved, Gospel Wave, and the Global Evangelist Alliance.
Thank you for your prayers, your trust, your faithfulness, and your generosity over the years. Thank you to everyone who has opened the doors of their church, served alongside us, or carried this work through prayer and giving. You are part of this story, and I give thanks to God for each one of you.
