“And the word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, what is this proverb you have in the land of Israel: ‘The days go by and every vision comes to nothing’? Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am going to put an end to this proverb, and they will no longer quote it in Israel.’ Tell them, ‘The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled.’”” – Ezekiel 12:21–23
There are moments in life when everything feels delayed. You know the promises God gave you. You’ve held on through the storms, you’ve prayed with tears, and still it seems like nothing is happening. Maybe people around you have even started to doubt and say, “Maybe it will never come”. But dear friend, I want to tell you today, God has not forgotten, and the delay is over!
The people in Ezekiel’s time had started to repeat a dangerous lie: “Every vision comes to nothing”. But God interrupted that mindset with a powerful word. He said, “I am going to put an end to this proverb”. In other words, I’m about to prove My faithfulness!
That same Spirit is speaking today. The Holy Spirit, who always makes the difference, is moving to fulfill what God has promised you.
Let me share with you the story of Anneke, a faithful believer from Amersfoort, in the Netherlands. Years ago, she received a word from the Lord that she would see her entire family saved. But year after year passed, and nothing seemed to change. Her husband was far from God, two of her children were living in addiction, and the pressure at work was intense. Many times, Anneke almost gave up, whispering in her prayers, “Lord, did I hear You right?” But she kept praying, kept believing, and kept declaring the promises.
Then one day, during a small home prayer group, the Holy Spirit fell powerfully. Her husband came just to watch, but he encountered the presence of God and gave his life to Jesus that night. Within six months, her two children came back home, both having had life-changing experiences with God at a youth conference. Today, Anneke leads a women’s intercession group in her city, and her whole family serves the Lord. She often says, “The vision didn’t die, it was waiting for the fire of the Holy Spirit!”
You see, God is always faithful. His delays are not denials. What looks impossible in the natural is no match for His supernatural intervention.
“Delay is not the end of the story. The Holy Spirit is moving, and every vision will be fulfilled in His perfect time!“
Friend, it’s time to stop repeating the lie that “nothing is happening”. Lift up your head. Raise your expectations. The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled. What God spoke over your life is still alive. And the Holy Spirit is breathing fresh wind into your destiny. Acceleration is coming. Fulfillment is coming. Don’t let go now as you’re closer than you think.
Prayer: Father, thank You for being a faithful Promise Keeper. I break every agreement with delay and discouragement. I declare by faith that Your vision for my life will be fulfilled. Holy Spirit, come and breathe upon every promise and bring it into reality. Let there be no more delay, but divine acceleration and fulfillment in Jesus’ name. Amen.
