I want to speak to you today from a place of personal experience. I wrote this just after a travel to Quebec where we’ve seen the Glory of God with the revival Spirit, but I had an accident that left me needing a wheelchair and crutches to move around with excruciating pains. But despite the pain, the important surgery needed, and the uncertainty, I stood in front of thousands of people on stage and hundreds of thousands more watching on television to declare the truth of God’s Word—He is still a healer, and He has not changed!
Some might wonder how I could stand there full of faith, speaking healing over others when I was in need of healing myself. The answer is simple: I’m not the healer and the provider, but God is. Our God never changes as He is faithful, and His Word promises that no matter how many troubles we face, He comes to the rescue every single time.
Life brings challenges. Even those who live righteously face trials. The Bible tells us that as believers, we will encounter trouble, but here’s the good news: The Lord rescues us every time. That means no matter what you’re going through today, God’s promise to deliver you stands strong. He hasn’t forgotten you, and He’s working behind the scenes, orchestrating your breakthrough.

As I prayed for the sick that day, I didn’t pray from a place of weakness or doubt. I prayed with confidence and unshakable FAITH no in me but IN GOD ALONE, knowing that the God who was healing me could heal them too. I’m living proof that God is faithful. He may not always take the storm away instantly, but He gives us the strength to walk through it with our heads held high. The same God who rescued David from his battles is the same God who will rescue you from whatever challenge you are facing today.
I’ve heard incredible testimonies from people who have faced overwhelming odds and seen God come through in miraculous ways. I think of a young man who battled cancer. Doctors gave him no hope, but he and his family stood on God’s Word, declaring His promises over their situation. Today, that young man is completely cancer-free. Another man lost everything—his business, his home, and even his sense of purpose—but God turned it all around, restoring more than he could have imagined. Why? Because the Lord comes to the rescue each time.
This promise is not just for the few; it’s for you, your family, and your loved ones. Whether it’s physical illness, emotional pain, or a difficult situation, God is faithful to rescue you. He is your healer, your protector, and your deliverer. And just like He came through for me and so many others, He will come through for you.

When you hold on to God’s promises, you’re holding on to a lifeline that will carry you through the storm. Don’t focus on the size of your troubles; focus on the size of your God. Troubles are temporary, but God’s faithfulness is eternal. Declare over your life today, “God is my rescuer. He will come through for me again, just as He always has.”
Your trouble is not the end of the story. It’s an opportunity for God to show His power in your life. If He did it for me, He can do it for you. Let your faith rise above your circumstances, and trust that His rescue is already on the way.
Today, I encourage you to look at whatever challenges you’re facing through the lens of faith. God hasn’t left you in the midst of your trouble; He’s right there with you, ready to bring deliverance. Lift your eyes, declare His promises, and stand firm, knowing that His rescue is on the way.
Prayer: Father, thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise to rescue me. I trust You in every situation I face, knowing that You are working all things for my good. Help me to walk in faith, believing that Your rescue is always near. I receive Your strength, Your peace, and Your healing today, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
