First of all, we’ve seen that snakes have been released all over the world, but there is Hope as God provides for us a way to be set free from any sicknesses, anxieties, turmoil, challenges, depression and others that try to kill us.
Secondly, humility precedes glory and repentance is the entry to experience freedom. The people of Israel recognized the reasons of the snake invasion and simply they said “we’ve sinned”. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
Today let’s go further in this powerful teaching.
3) PRAY that the Lord will take away the snakes
I want to encourage all of us to pray:
- for our families, for our regions, our countries and continents asking the Lord to take away the poisonous snakes
- And also let’s pray for each other like Paul said in Ephesians 6:19
Pray for each other, too.
And let us Ask God to give us the right words so we can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike.
20 So pray that we will keep on speaking boldly for him, as we should.
We need each other and we need the prayers of each other. Please pray for me as I want to pray for you. Let’s pray that we will be able to pass through this challenging season but also that we can take the opportunity to answer the real needs. This generation is in real need. So let’s pray God to give us the RIGHT WORDS. Not our words. Not the religious political words. But THE RIGHT WORDS full of HOPE explaining the mysterious plan that the GOOD NEWS – THE GOSPEL is for every human being.
4) LET’S LIFT UP THE NAME OF JESUS
This is our time to lift up not a replica of the poisonous snake but to lift up the real only one who went on the real pole called the cross. And His name is JESUS
This replica of the poisonous snake attached to a pole was a representation of Jesus like it’s written in the book of John.
John 3:14-17 (NLT Study Bible Text,)
14 And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,
15 so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life.
IT’S our greatest privilege and opportunity to bring the GOOD NEWS.
And the Good news is
16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
It’s the time to preach the GOOD NEWS – THE GOSPEL. And the Gospel is positive and full of Hope. And the Gospel is all about Jesus. So let’s share and preach JESUS and only JESUS who is the only way, only truth and only life!
This is our mission to lift up JESUS in this season, over our regions & nations, and over this generation including our family
This is our call and job to LIFT UP JESUS over all sins and sicknesses
