His Glory Is on the Move

Then the cherubim lifted their wings, and the wheels beside them, and the Glory of the God of Israel was above them.Ezekiel 11:22

There are times when we feel like everything around us is shaking. People move. Seasons change. Doors open, and sometimes others close. But here is a truth that brings deep hope and unshakable confidence: God’s Glory is not stuck. His glory moves! The Glory of the Lord is never limited to one place, one moment, or one generation. When God begins to shift things, it is not to abandon you but it is to lead you into greater encounters with His presence.

In Ezekiel’s vision, God’s Glory began to lift and move. Yes, judgment was unfolding over Jerusalem, but at the same time, God was revealing something profound: even in times of transition and uncertainty, His Glory remains above it all.

Then the cherubim lifted their wings, and the wheels beside them, and the Glory of the God of Israel was above them.”
Ezekiel 11:22

Dear friend, maybe you’ve been through a season where it feels like the ground is shifting. Maybe a ministry has changed, a friendship has ended, or you’ve been moved to a new city, job, or church. Don’t fear the movement and follow the Glory.

The Good News is, the same Spirit that hovered over Ezekiel’s vision is still moving today. The Holy Spirit always carries the Glory of God into places of restoration, healing, and revival. When He moves, things don’t fall apart, they come together!

Let me tell you about Rachelle from The Netherlands. She was part of a worship team that had been flowing in unity and anointing for several years. But then, unexpectedly, the leaders of the church transitioned out, and many in the team moved away. It felt like the fire of what God was doing was fading. But instead of quitting, Rachelle began gathering a few young worshipers to pray weekly. The Holy Spirit began to move in their little living room, stronger than they ever experienced before. One night, the presence was so intense that a neighbor who was walking by came under conviction and knocked on the door, asking what was happening inside. That man gave his life to Jesus that evening.

God’s glory is never static as it moves with the Spirit. When you follow His Presence, you step into your destiny.”

Today, that same group has grown into a vibrant local movement, with worship nights that welcome over 200 people monthly, and salvations and healings are regularly reported. Rachelle told us, “We thought the Glory had departed. But actually, it had just moved and we had to move with it.”

You see, when the Spirit moves, follow Him. Don’t camp around what was. Pursue what is and what is coming. The Holy Spirit is leading you forward. He is lifting you higher. And His Glory will not just pass by, it will rest upon you.

Prayer
: Holy Spirit, I choose to follow Your leading. Where You move, I will move. I refuse to cling to the past or fear the unknown. Let Your glory rest on me, my family, and all that I do. Use every transition to draw me closer to Your presence. Lead me into greater glory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
