“You will toss them into the air, and the wind will blow them all away; a whirlwind will scatter them. Then you will rejoice in the LORD. You will glory in the Holy One of Israel.” – Isaiah 41:16
This verse is so powerful that I’ve already written a Weekly Hope Inspiration titled “Rejoicing in the Lord: Victory Over Every Adversity,” focusing on the promise of victory that comes through God’s mighty intervention.
Beloved, today’s word is not just a promise of victory, it’s a call to lift up your eyes and glory in the greatness of our God! God is not just a God who gets us through challenges; He is the Holy One of Israel, and when He moves, He scatters the mountains before us. The obstacles that seem insurmountable are no match for His mighty power, and when His power is revealed in your life, you will glory in the Holy One of Israel.
To glory in the Holy One is to recognize His greatness and majesty, to honor Him for who He is, and to rejoice in the mighty works He has done. It’s an attitude of the heart that declares, “Lord, You are everything to me, and I will lift You up in praise because You are worthy of all the glory!” . It’s not just about experiencing victory, it’s about responding to the victory by honoring the One who made it possible.

In the Scripture, God promises to scatter every difficulty in your path, to blow away every enemy and obstacle that tries to come against you. The wind of His Spirit will move with such force that nothing will be left standing. But the beauty of this promise is that it doesn’t just end with you overcoming. The ultimate result is that you glory in the Holy One of Israel. You will look back on your life and say, “It wasn’t by my might or my power, but by the Spirit of the Lord. I could not have done this on my own, but God has been faithful, and I give Him all the glory!”
When God delivers you, when He causes the whirlwind to scatter the things that are standing in your way, your response should be one of awe and praise. It’s easy to rejoice when we’ve received a breakthrough, but to glory in the Holy One is to give all honor to God for His power, His wisdom, and His greatness. It’s a declaration of His supremacy over everything in our lives.
Consider how the Bible speaks of the glory of God. In Psalm 29:1-2, it says, “Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness.” . To glory in the Holy One of Israel is to recognize the splendor of His holiness and give Him the honor He deserves. It’s to acknowledge that He is the source of every victory, every blessing, and every triumph.

When you face trials, when the mountains seem impossible to move, remember this: God is working in your favor. He will scatter your troubles. He will bring you into a place of peace and victory. And as He does, take time to glory in the Holy One of Israel. Rejoice in His goodness. Lift your voice in praise to the One who is worthy of all honor, all glory, and all praise. Your victory is a testimony of His power, and as you celebrate His goodness, you will find yourself overwhelmed by His presence and His majesty.
When the whirlwind of God’s power moves in your life, it will not only change your circumstances—it will stir in you a heart of worship. You will be able to look back and see how far God has brought you, and your only response will be to give Him the glory He deserves.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your mighty power at work in my life. I know that every obstacle, every trial, and every enemy is no match for You. As You scatter every difficulty and bring me into victory, I choose to glory in You, the Holy One of Israel. I lift my voice in praise to You, for You are worthy of all honor and glory. I acknowledge Your greatness, Your faithfulness, and Your love, and I rejoice in all that You have done. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
