Clothed in joy

“I am overwhelmed with joy in the Lord my God! For He has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness. I am like a bridegroom dressed for his wedding or a bride with her jewels.” – Isaiah 61:10

Joy is not just a fleeting feeling; it is a powerful gift from God that transforms our hearts and lives. Isaiah 61:10 declares a truth that we can stand on every day: we are clothed in the garments of salvation and wrapped in the robe of righteousness. This is not just symbolic. It is a reality that brings overwhelming joy, no matter what life throws our way.

When we realize that God Himself has dressed us in His salvation, it changes everything. We are not bound by our past, defined by our mistakes, or limited by our circumstances. Instead, we are embraced by His grace, covered in His love, and filled with His joy. His righteousness is like a royal robe that declares, “You are mine, deeply loved, and fully accepted.”

In Bastogne, Belgium, during a powerful Miracles & Healings service, a man named Thomas experienced this joy firsthand. For years, he battled addiction and felt trapped by his past. But that night, everything changed. As prayers filled the room, Thomas felt an undeniable surge of hope rise within him. It was as if God Himself whispered, “You are free.” Thomas surrendered his life to Jesus with a heart full of expectation. From that moment, his life was transformed. He walked away from addiction, his family relationships were beautifully restored, and today, he is overflowing with joy and purpose.

When you realize you are clothed in God’s love and salvation, joy becomes your constant companion.

Today, you can experience that same joy. You are already clothed in God’s salvation and wrapped in His righteousness. His joy is not dependent on your circumstances but on His unchanging love for you. Rejoice in the truth that you are forgiven, loved, and chosen. Let His joy bubble up in your heart and overflow into every part of your life.

Prayer: Father, thank You for clothing me with salvation and wrapping me in Your righteousness. Your joy fills my heart and strengthens my spirit. Help me to live each day with the confidence that I am loved and accepted by You. Let Your joy shine through me, bringing hope and encouragement to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
