“We live unto the Lord.” – Romans 14:8 If God had wanted, any of us could have entered heaven immediately after his conversion. It absolutely wasn´t necessary for our preparation for immorality in Christ that we stayed any longer here. It is possible that man is transported to heaven and considered apt to participate in the inheritance of the saints in the light, although he believes in Jesus only recently. Let´s consider the example of the brigand who was crucified next to the Lord. It´s right that our sanctification is a long and continuous process, and that we are not perfect as long as we have not laid down our body and passed the veil, but however, if the Lord had wanted, he could have made us pass from the imperfection to the perfection and take us immediately to heaven.

“We live unto the Lord.” |
Why are we still here? Would God keep his children only one instance longer away from paradise than necessary? Why is God´s living army still on the battlefield whereas one single shot could give victory? By means of one single blow, God could destroy all works of the darkness. Why do his children wander still here and there in a labyrinth whereas one single world out of his mouth could take them to their expectations in heaven? The answer is that we are here in order to “live for the Lord” and to bring the others to the point where they know his love. We stay on earth as Sowers to spread the good seed, as Plowmen to clear the wasteland, as announcers of the publication of salvation – the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. |
“We are here as workmen for him and workmen with him.” |
We are here as salt of the world, to be a blessing for the world. We are here to glorify Christ in our daily life. We are here as workmen for him and workmen with him. Let´s take of our life corresponding to this aim. Let´s live a zealous life, useful and holy, for his glory. Let´s show to this fallen earth the efficacity of his blood. Let´s love one another. Let´s help one the other. Let´s preach the gospel to all creatures. Let’s cultivate intimacy and friendship with Jesus. And all together, let´s live for the Lord! |
Prayer: Thank your Lord for your grace. Thank you that you have called me to be a witness in my school, on my workplace, in my family, in my country. Help me Holy Spirit to represent Jesus like it should be. Help me to walk in authority and the power of Christ in order to destroy the footprint of the enemy here on earth. I live only for you and only for you, Jesus. Amen.
