From the superficiality to profundity

“Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ” – Philippians 3 :8

The desire of God is to be in communion with us. This communion is strong and yet, much deeper than we could even imagine. Imagine your soul being in perfect union with the almighty God. An intimate relationship between the creator and his creature. A divine connection from your heart to his heart. A face to face with the one who has a brilliant face like the sun with all its shine and splendor.

That’s what the Lord wants for you. I have just one simple question for you after all these nice words: do you live this intimacy? Are you connected to Christ every day? My friends, I feel some kind of urgency and a saint love coming from the Lord. It´s time to recognize it! Not only by means of words and principles, but by means of a real relational experience between God and you. It´s time for us to come from religious and dogmatic superficiality to the depth of the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Take a decision today, to live all your life focused on this discovery: the research of the presence of God. That’s worthwhile. He is worthy, three times worthy.

Prayer: Father, thank you for your invitation to experience yourself, to know you and to look for you. Forgive my distractions and help me, Holy Spirit, to put my attention and affection on you. In the marvelous name of Jesus. Amen.
