God Has Made You Bold

Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.

Ephesians 3:12

For those who are in Christ Jesus, Paul speaks of our position in Him by saying “in who we have boldness”.

Proverbs 28:1 tells us, “The righteous are bold as a lion.” Despite your past or some bad experiences, you need to remember what God says about you. You’ve been appointed by God to become ambassador and representative of Jesus Christ. You need to know that you have not been given a spirit of fear, but that you are bold – as bold as a lion.

Many times, people come to me and say, “Jean-Luc, I can’t witness. I can’t just walk up to a total stranger and share with him. I’m too afraid.” Or “Jean-Luc, I’ve some doubts and fears to start this new business” etc. Probably you can find out many excuses when you look at yourself or look with your human eyes regarding the resources but this is not God’s word.

I want to encourage you to start confessing what the Word of God says about you. Every step you take toward that person or a new project or just to obey God’s directions, say to yourself, “God has not given me the spirit of fear but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. I’m not a coward. I’m the righteousness of God, and the righteous are bold as a lion.” By the time you get to that person or the place you have to go to start something new, you will be bold.

And then all the time, some people will usually ask, “Yes, but what if it doesn’t work?”. I tell them as I’m telling you if it doesn’t work for the first time “Then start all over again!” and one day you will succeed.

Just keep confessing the Word. You need to know your authority – who you are in Christ. You are definitely a child of God. You are not a loser, you’re a winner! You’re not a chump, you’re a champ. God has not made you timid and fearful – He has made you as bold as a lion!

So today, make a decision to fulfil your destiny. Decide to step out of the boat and take some new risk in connection with what God asks you to do. Stop being a spectator and become a bold actor making the difference in this generation. God has made you bold and courageous. And never forget God is with you and will never forsake you.

Prayer: Thanks God for your word. You tell me that I can come boldly and confidently into your Presence. Also, as I’m in Christ, you’ve made me bold as a lion. Today, I renounce the spirit of fear. I refuse to bring more excuses regarding my past or my present situation. But I decide to believe your word and receive the cloths and character of boldness.

Quote: You are not a loser, you’re a winner! You’re not a chump, you’re a champ. God has not made you timid and fearful – He has made you as bold as a lion!
