Weekly Hope Inspiration I November 1st, 2020

“Lord, sustain me as you promised, that I may live! Do not let my hope be crushed. Sustain me, and I will be rescued; Then I will meditate continually on your decrees.”

Psalms 119.116

I’ve experienced this feeling of having my hope crushed. This last months, I’ve been facing important challenges but tried my best to fight the good fight of faith. I’ve declared God’s promises over my life and family. I’ve put my trust in God and in His word. But another bad news came over me in the midst of so many challenges and my hope just crushed. I’m a human and this is the reason I need God as all of us need Him.

So I remembered that the source of Hope is coming from God’s word. And I took the decision not to listen my feelings and not to get impressed by the huge mountains in front of me. I call upon the name of the Lord asking His Help.

Today, you may be facing important battles, or you need to assume big responsibilities and you feel not adequate. If you are facing giants and mountains, I want to encourage you to ask the Lord who loves you so much to ask him to sustain you. You may feel weak, but let the weak say I’m strong not because of our own abilities or capacities but because God will sustain you as he promised. You are going to live and not to die. Your business, your family, your finances, your health are in God’s hands and he will never forsake you. He will sustain you and He will rescue you from every turbulence.

Put your Hope in God, it will not be crushed as God never crushed. You will become stronger and stronger being able to overcome the enemies of your soul. Don’t meditate on the bad news and circumstances but listen God’s word and meditate His promises and decrees for your life. The best is yet to come!

Prayer: Lord, like David I recognize that I need you. So today, I ask you to sustain me as you promised, that I may live. Do not let my hope crushed. Sustain me and I will be rescued. I decide to meditate not on the bad news but on your promises and decrees. You are a strong tower and you will never be crushed. My Hope is in you and will never be crushed as I fully trust you!

Quote: “When your Hope is in God, it will never crush as God never crushed.”
