The blood of Jesus

“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” – 1 Peter 1 :18-19

There is a liquid, a liquid of life that flows even today from the veins of Emmanuel, our God. We are talking about a red liquid that has the power to dissolve every kind of addiction chain, which can heal every illness, curable or incurable, and which can assure our eternal salvation. This red fluid is none else than the precious blood of Jesus Christ, the savior of the world. In his blood, there is forgiveness of all our sins: the past, present or future sins. One single drop of his blood can completely wash away the terrible spot of sin. One single drop of the blood of Christ can keep us white and pure forever. We belong to God as he has redeemed us by his own blood! Hallelujah!

“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot”
1 Peter 1 :18-19

The Lord Jesus, on his way to crucifixion, has poured his blood in 7 different circumstances:

  1. 1st, Jesus bled in the garden of Gethsemane (ref. Luke 22 :44). The agony was so strong that the sweat of Christ turned to blood! At that stage, his blood was poured for the healing of our souls.
  2. Then, he bled before the Sanhedrin, headed by Kaiphus. They have beaten him (ref. Luke 22 :63-64) and he has been disfigured up to a point where he was unrecognizable (ref. Is. 52 :14) so that one day, we could be as Christ, so that we look like him.
  3. His blood was then poured out again in the courtroom of Pontius Pilatus, where they put a crown of thorns on his head. This was for the healing of our thoughts.
  4. He was then whipped up to a movement of his organs, up to a tearing of his muscles, and up to tear off his skin. Therefore, by his stripes, we are healed. (Is.53 :5)
  5. Blood has been poured out again, when his tender hands have been nailed on the cross; so that our offer could be accepted and acceptable. So that we could build the kingdom of God on the foundation which is none other than Christ himself.
  6. His feet have also been pierced, so that we could march which him, in the holiness which only the blood of the lamb can offer.
  7. Finally, blood came out of him, when the Romain solder pierced his side; so that we could be born again!

“One single drop of his blood can completely wash away the terrible spot of sin.”

The blood of Jesus Christ is sufficient! It is our ransom. We belong to him and we are his children, because, by his own blood, Jesus has redeemed us. Oh, the precious blood of Jesus, almighty and capable of purifying anyone!

Prayer: Thank you Jesus infinitely for your precious blood which has been poured out just for me. I ask you Holy Spirit to reveal to me the power of his blood. Show me its´ impact. Wash me by his blood. Thank you, Lord. Amen!
