Persevere until you see the promise

Hebrews 10:36

“Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that He has promised.”

Sometimes, for different reasons and even good reasons, we are pushed, pressed and we face all kinds of adversities. As a result, sometimes we don’t know what to do anymore. God is telling us in the verse mentioned above not to throw away this confident trust in Him. Remember the great reward this will bring you!

What are your expectations? What do you need? What are you believing God almighty for today? Healing? Restoration in your relationships? Deliverance from some addiction or bad habits? A financial breakthrough? God has promised all these things to you in His word because it’s His desire for you to live in wholeness all the days of your life.

When you do the will of God by obeying His word and precepts, this opens the door, by God’s grace, for His promises to be fulfilled in your life. Even if you are doing all the right things today but it seems nothing is happening yet, please don’t give up! Two of the fruits of the Holy Spirit are perseverance and patience. And as you ask Him, He will give you perseverance and patient endurance that will carry you to the promise.

Perseverance means that you are focused and you don’t believe in circumstances or feelings, but in what God says about your situation. It means turning your eyes away from distractions and any negative, defeating thoughts. Perseverance looks away from discouragement and looks to the unshakable word of God. Perseverance has a voice, and it says things like, “God is with me, and if He is with me who can be against me? No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus!”

Whatever you are believing God for today, keep on believing. Stand strong and fight the good fight of faith. Ask God to give you endurance, perseverance, and patience so that you can see His promises fulfilled in every area of your life!

Prayer: God, I’m asking You to give me endurance, perseverance and patience. Holy Spirit, I need You and allow Your fruit to fill my life. Even if I face challenges, some of them even for a long time, I’m not going to give up. I put my trust in God and believe that His promises will be fulfilled in my life at the perfect time. Thanks, God, for Your faithfulness that is with me to continue doing Your will.

Quote : Perseverance means that you are focused and you don’t believe in circumstances or feelings, but in what God says about your situation.
