He does not abandon those who seek him

“And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee!” – Psalm 9 :10

The Lord is faithful. Great is his faithfulness! Jesus promised us in Matthew 6 :33 that if you seek first his kingdom and justice of God, all other things will be given us in addition to that.

“And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee!” Psalm 9 :10

He also says in Mark 10 :29-30: “And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life”.

The only responsibility we have – and wow what a glorious job – is to seek God. This research of his presence is not just passive research … on the contrary, it is growing research, a rejoicing anticipation, research that asks for energy of our entire life. This should be our first priority, all the days of our existence.

Our father is so perfect that all he asks us to do is to attach ourselves to him. As far as the rest is concerned, we will care.

As far as our needs are concerned, God will care. He has promised to do so. Our father is so perfect that all he asks us to do is to attach ourselves to him. As far as the rest is concerned, we will care.

Prayer: Thank you so much, my Lord. You are so good and beautiful. Thank you, as all you ask me to do is to seek you, to be in your presence. Help me to be simple. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
