You will rise again!

Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.

Micah 7:8 (NLT)

When we repent from our sins, give our life to Jesus and put our faith in Him alone, we are supernaturally born again, becoming sons and daughters of God. Therefore, we are part of God’s family but also of His army as there is a spiritual battle between the darkness and the Kingdom of God.

When you are part of God’s army, you never give up. We must understand that we don’t struggle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:10-18). Everybody experiences setbacks and challenges, but the fact that God is on our side means that nothing on earth can hold us down. With God’s strength and support, we can become unstoppable warriors who are victorious in every spiritual battle. No matter how many times we feel like we’ve been knocked down, as I’ve experienced so often in my life, we can rise again! God has guaranteed victory for those who live uprightly in His name.

Decide to be like Micah. If we have sinned against God, we can repent and He will forgive us. There could be human consequences on this earth, but the good news is that God will never forsake us. He promised that He would take up our case and give us justice for all we’ve have suffered from our enemies (Micah 7:9). When for different reasons we might fall in a battle it is God who strengthens us, enabling us to rise back up to our feet. Failure is never final. Even though we might feel like we can’t see a way out of our situation and we feel like we are sitting in darkness, let our hearts be filled with hope. The Lord will always be your light and show you the way to go. Stand strong against the enemy today. Let’s not get discouraged and let’s decide to rise up and reach a whole new level of abundant living. With the help and strength of the Holy Spirit, let’s decide to live victoriously today as God has called us to do! Never give up, there is grace and there are new opportunities to rise again and shine for His Glory.

Prayer: I thank You, God, that I can be part of Your family but also of Your army. You called me to be a mighty warrior, so I will not get discouraged when I’m failing as it’s not the end. Fill my heart with Your hope, and give me strength to stand strong against the enemy. Not by might nor by power, but through the Holy Spirit I will rise again to live a victorious life.

Quote: Failure is never final. As God will never forsake us, He will always be our light and show us the way to rise again!
