Trust in the LORD always,
for the LORD GOD is the eternal Rock.
Isaiah 26:4
The unchangeable promise and covenant of the Lord are the walls of the church of God written in the first verses of this chapter. The gates of this city shall be open. Let sinners then be encouraged to join the Lord. Thou will keep him in peace, a perfect peace, inward peace, outward peace, peace with God, peace of conscience, peace at all times, in all events.
Trust in the Lord for that peace, that portion, which lasts forever. Whatever we trust the world for, it will last only for a moment.But those who trust in God shall not only find in him, but shall receive from him, strength that will carry them to that blessedness which is forever. Let us then acknowledge him in all our ways, and rely on him in all trials. It’s a promise but also a command from Our good father to trust HIM. So obedience to this command to the letter will produce the wonderful result of perfect peace.
Lord God, the union of the two names expresses in the highest degree God’s unchanging love and power. Lord God is the eternal Rock where there is no shadow of changing. We are living in a world where everything is changing so quickly producing instability.Whereas in God, we can find a rock to establish and build our life on despite economic, family, and other changes… Even if we have to endure persecution, rejection, tribulations, or any kind of challenge…Trust always in the Lord as He is your Lord God the eternal Rock.
Beside this Rock, we can find comfort, solutions, and protection. Today, whatever is happening around you or in you, by trusting the Lord you will regain perfect peace and comfort to the most amazing Dad who loves you so much.
Prayer: Lord God, I always decide to put my whole trust in you. I need you as things are shaken in my life and around me! And today I can find real peace. Thanks Lord God for being my eternal Rock, giving me your comfort and protecting me from any hurt or pains. I love you God and express all my gratitude for who you are.
