Those who love your instructions have great peace and do not stumble.
Psalms 119:165
There is a powerful key by loving the instructions of God. I’m not talking about the legalistic or religious way to be under a God sitting on His throne oppressing his children by forcing them to do what He is saying and to punish them. Not at all ! God is a wonderful, good God. He is your Creator and He is so proud of you. He loves you so much and His words are full of love for you. His instructions are not there to hurt you but to protect you. Psalm 119:105 says that ‘His word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path’. That means God’s Word directs us. God’s Word protects us. And as He is your good daddy, you will find in His Word peace and security knowing that He is faithful to give you a brilliant secure future! King David said, “Truly, I love your commands more than gold, even the finest gold as each of your commandments is right v.127-128 “. He had the revelation that Peace is the greatest gift we need that God releases to those who love His instruction.
God’s will is not only to give you peace, but He wants to give Great peace. This Peace that releases supernaturally also the joy when it doesn’t make sense for you to be happy. It passes all understanding. This great peace will keep you stable and strong no matter what may come against you. And you will not stumble!
Make the decision to focus your attention on God’s word not only today but every day of your life. As you discipline yourself in the scriptures, you will become hungrier for God’s Word, and a love for His promises will naturally develop bringing you Great peace.
Prayer: Lord God you are such a great good God. I decide to put a priority not only this week but every day on my life to read and meditate your scripture. And I know it will become a natural process of being hungrier of your Word. I love you God as I love so much your instructions that release Great peace in my spirit, soul and body. And because of your Great peace I will make the right choices and will not stumble.
