No condemnation

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:1

The enemy of our soul is trying to accuse us all the time of things we have not done sufficiently, well enough or well at all. The devil is the accuser, pointing out even those things for which we’ve already asked for forgiveness. Don’t forget He is the liar, using sometimes even the scriptures to accuse you.

But Jesus came to break the curse of sin, shame and condemnation in our lives. He came so that we could see things the way God sees them. Do you know how God sees you? He sees you as His own child whom He loves so much. He sees you as chosen even if your parents were not willing to have you. He sees you as valuable even if people told you the opposite. He sees you as strong even if you feel weak. He sees you as capable even if your family told you otherwise. He sees you as talented, as He is the one who gave you those talents. Maybe you need to discover them with His help, but you surely have great talents. He sees you as trustworthy even if you failed in the past. The voice of condemnation says exactly the opposite. Condemnation is a loss of value. It’s the accusing voice of the enemy that says, “You’re not good enough. You’ll never be good enough. You have failed.” Condemnation never comes from God. Don’t allow the devil to confine you in condemnation. The Bible tells us there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

I have good news for you: God gave us powerful tools called faith and declaration. When you believe His word, embrace His promises and declare God’s truth in your life, you activate His power to overcome the voice of condemnation. No matter how you may be feeling, in the morning or during the night, declare that the Greater One lives in you. Declare that you are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Declare that He loves you and has called you according to His purpose. Declare that you have talents, and you will develop them for His Glory to be a blessing for others. Embrace His truth so you can overcome condemnation. Choose to see yourself as valuable, the way God sees you.

Prayer: Thank you God, that you forgave me of all my sins as I repented and put my faith in Jesus. You tell me that there is no condemnation in my life as I belong to Jesus. I believe your word and I declare boldly that you’ve chosen me. I declare that I’m strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I declare that I’m loved and have many talents that I will use for His Glory. I declare over my whole life that there is no condemnation in Jesus name.
