All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 NLT

The Bible is not just a common book merely full of great stories, historical events, wisdom, poems, inspiration etc. Rather, the Bible is the word of God our Creator, and all Scripture is inspired by God and useful for our daily life. It is not simply an old book from ancient eras, for when we read it with the help of the Holy Spirit it is beneficial not only to teach us what is true, but also to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. We all need to make decisions on a daily basis, decisions that impact different areas of our life including our family, work, or personal life. Depending on the intricacy of each situation, making the right decision can sometimes seem dompting. The Good News is that we do not have to be alone in the process of making the right choices in our lives.  In fact, God releases His guidance for those who want to put their trust in Him.

Through the many biblical stories found in the Scriptures, we can all learn some lessons which have been proven to be useful for the practical life, particularly in regard to discerning what is true and good from what is wrong and bad for us. In this respect, the Bible read with the help of the Holy Spirit is exactly like a personal coach, bringing correction where we are wrong and teaching us the right thing to do. By means of His Word, God acts through the Holy Spirit as our personal coach who loves us dearly and knows exactly what we need in order to be well prepared and equipped to do every good work He has for us.

With God’s Scriptures we not only have the manual to help us navigate rightly through life, but we also have a personal coach called the Holy Spirit, teaching us and helping us understand His word. He will bring us out of mediocrity and help us walk in the path of excellence and self-esteem where we become history-makers who achieve outstanding works for His glory.

Prayer: God, thank You so much for Your written Word. Holy Spirit, may You help me to receive the necessary revelation for my daily life. I’m asking You to become my personal coach as I seek to fulfill my destiny on this earth by doing every good work You have prepared for me. I give You permission to correct and teach me to do what is right.

Quote: The Bible read with the help of the Holy Spirit is exactly like a personal coach, bringing correction where we are wrong and teaching us the right thing to do.
