“But the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.” Luke 2:10

As Mary gave birth to Jesus, that night there were shepherds staying in the fields nearby guarding their flocks of sheep. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s Glory surrounded them. They were terrified as surely all of us would be. But directly the angel reassured them and told them “Don’t be afraid” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people”.

As with Zechariah and Mary, the angelic presence was real, glorious but also frightening. I believe we are in a season where the manifestation of angels will occur more and more as Jesus is coming back very soon. Get ready to have some Glorious manifestations in your house or even at your working place but don’t be afraid of God’s manifestation.

The angel told the shepherds, “Don’t be afraid” as I bring you good news. This verb (Greek euangelizō, “I evangelize”) is from the same root as the word for “Good News” (Greek euangelion, sometimes translated gospel (Gal 2:5, 7, 14). Isaiah’s prophecies describe God’s salvation as good news (Isa 52:7; 61:1) to all people Salvation through Jesus had arrived and would ultimately go to all nations.

Christmas is not mainly about gifts, family reunions and good food even if it’s wonderful. But Christmas is all about the Good News.  Don’t be afraid to receive but also to share to other the glad tidings of the coming of Jesus on this earth as The Savior for every people and nations. Jesus wants to save yourself, your family, your neighbor and region. Today, don’t be afraid of anybody and anything to welcome the Glorious Jesus in your daily life. Jesus came for all of us and as we open our heart and life to HIM, through the Holy Spirit He will come and live in us. He will move with so much love and with great power in our life.

Don’t be afraid in this season as Jesus is real and wants to be with you ! God is a good God and he is willing to come to your life in a glorious way to save you and to bring you great joy.

Prayer : Thank you God, for the coming of Jesus on this earth. I won´t be afraid as I welcome Jesus into my daily life as The Savior. I repent of all my sin and I put my trust and faith in HIM only. And revive me to share this Good News of the coming of Jesus as The Savior to my friends and family.

Quote : Don’t be afraid to welcome Jesus in your life as He came on this earth as The Savior to bring great joy to all people.
