“You will have such a surplus of crops that you will need to clear out the old grain to make room for the new harvest!”
This promise is among other promises that come directly from our God. If we obey Him and follow His instructions, He will bless us more abundantly than we have ever imagined. I’m not talking about a kind of “American prosperity” but about God’s prosperity because of His generous character. God gave us generously His son Jesus-Christ so that whoever believes in HIM would have abundant and eternal life.
This abundant life is not only in paradise. It is for every believer who shakes the dusty religious spirit that brings us to poverty, to embrace instead the Holy Spirit who carries God’s Kingdom blessings. This is your season to believe God’s word, as He promised you that whatever your bad experiences or years of lack might be, He will let you have a surplus of crops. And this surplus of crops will be so huge that you need to clear out the old grain to make room for the new harvest!
Moses led the Hebrews to believe that, provided they were faithful to God, there would be no idle time between the harvest and vintage, so great would be the increase. (See Am(?) 9:13). So, let’s believe God’s word!
Before the new harvest comes, you need to clear out your storehouse from the old grain. What does that mean? I believe that God gives to every believer grains for his daily bread, allowing him to eat plentiful and to nourish his family as well. But God gives to every believer some grains that are seeds to plant for a great harvest. Everybody did not receive the same, but everybody received some grains to eat and some grains to plant. The ones to eat are not to be planted, and the ones to plant are not to be eaten.
Today is the day to go to your storehouse and take the old grain out in order to give room to welcome the new harvest. As you release and plant your seeds by giving into a good soil for the advancing of God’s Kingdom, God Himself will fulfill His promises to you as a person, ministry or even as a business by opening His Heaven to release a surplus of crops.
Prayer : Thanks GOD for Your word and principles. I want to listen to Your voice and to obey You by making room in my storehouse for a surplus of crops. I want to be like You – a generous person who doesn’t pile your blessings in a storehouse but who releases them in order to bless others.
